2025 Iowa Adult Education and Literacy Summer Conference

Katie Lanuis has been working with adult learners since 2014. She has taught ESL (from preliterate to advanced levels), high school equivalency (all five subjects), citizenship, and IET classes at community colleges (credit and noncredit), liberal arts colleges, and nonprofits. Presently, she teaches two multilevel HSE classes (students with NRS levels 2-6) in-person, an asynchronous online HSE class, and a pre-CNA course. She has the privilege of working with many multilingual students in these classes.
