2025 Iowa Adult Education and Literacy Summer Conference

This has been a challenging year for adult education. The premise of this hands-on workshop is that we, as adult ed practitioners, can better navigate the challenges we face with the support and collective knowledge of each other. We’ll use a research-based model of problem solving called “Action Learning”.  This method had been tried and tested around the world to help groups get to the heart of a problem and come up with creative solutions.   Working in small groups, we’ll work through real situations you are facing in your work. The model can also be transferred to the classroom.  Be ready to collaborate!
